Tim Berners-Lee wrote the first web browser on a NeXT computer,he called it Worldwide Web, finishing the first version on Christmas day, 1990. He released the program to a number of people at CERN in March, in1991, introducing the web to a physics community, and beginning its spread.
The company developed into a pool of knowledge as Lee was now director of the company. His ideas were brilliant, one of which was Hypertext,this was made to link and access information of various kinds as a web of nodes in which the user can browse at will.
